Zajedno s našim domaćim i međunarodnim gostima iz Hrvatske, SAD-a, Austrije i Slovenije, polaznicima ćemo ponuditi priliku da sudjeluju u vrhunskim plesnim edukativnim programima i radionicama klasičnog, neoklasičnog, karakternog, modernog i suvremenog baleta te suvremenog plesa. Na taj će način dobiti mogućnost da prošire svoje umjetničko iskustvo i znanje. Master Ballet Education sastoji se od 7 dana intenzivnih treninga i radionica u Zagrebačkom plesnom centru, jednog dana prezentacijskih i edukacijskih programa, audicije za američku baletnu akademiju Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet te scenske prezentacije. O nama Baldovin Ballet Zagreb osnovali su 2020. George Alexandru Baldovin i Iva Vrgoč. George Alexandru Baldovin nekadašnji je baletan kazališta HNK u Zagrebu i SNG u Mariboru, baletne kompanije European Ballet London, te rumunjskih nacionalnih kazališta u Bukureštu, Iasiju i Constanti. U svojoj je karijeri imao priliku surađivati sa svjetski poznatim koreografima, među kojima su Vladimir Malakhov, Nacho Duato, Irek Muchamedov, Edward Clug, Patrice Bart, Youri Vamos, Leo Mujić, Valeri Koftun, Victor Litvinov, Derek Dean, Van Mannen, Milko Šparemblek, Lorca Massine, Joyce Cuoco, Vladimir Drevianko, Pascal Tozeau, Paul Boos (zaklada George Balanchine). Trenutno kao slobodni profesionalni baletan, koreograf i skladatelj želi podijeliti svoje znanje i iskustvo, promičući tako umjetnost klasičnog baleta. It is a highly technical form of dance, defined by elegance, graceful movements and rigorous technique. Classical ballet performances are usually based on a story and can express different emotions. This movement involves dancers bending their knees and straightening them again, with the heels firm on the ground and feet turned right out. • Port de bras. ‘Movement of the arms’, involving how dancers move their arms between positions. Kratka baletna terminologija i značenje pojmova • Plié - Pri izvođenju ovog plesnog pokreta plesači savijaju koljena u čučanj i potom ih ispružaju, s petama na podu i stopalima u otvorenoj poziciji. • Ballon - Ovaj pojam znači „odskočiti“, a odnosi se na jednostavnost i lakoću u izvođenju skokova, ističući važnost njihove kvalitete umjesto visine. • Ėpaulement - Jednostavno rečeno, épaulement je položaj u kojem su plesači pod određenim kutom okrenuti prema publici. Prevodi se kao „pokret ramenima“, a odnosi se na položaj ramena u odnosu na donji dio tijela. • Port de bras - Prevodi se kao „pokreti ruku“, a odnosi se na kretnje ruku pri promjeni položaja. • En dehors - Prevodi se kao „prema van“ te označava kretanje u baletnim koracima odnosno smjer u kojem se koraci izvode. Primjerice, pirouette en dehors znači da bi se plesači trebali okrenuti „prema van“, na suprotnu stranu od potporne noge na kojoj stoje. • Pirouettes - Piruete su u baletu okreti koje plesači izvode okretanjem na jednoj nozi dok je druga noga podignuta i u određenom položaju. • Pointe - Plesanje na vršcima prstiju, izvodi se u klasičnom i suvremenom baletu. • Developpé - Ovaj pojam znači „rasklopiti“. Radi se o privlačenju radne noge prema koljenu potporne noge na kojoj plesač stoji, a potom ispružanju radne noge. • À la seconde - Ovaj pojam znači da se položaj u baletu, obično klasičnom baletu, izvodi tako da su stopala u drugom položaju ili da se korak izvodi „u stranu“. • En bas - Prevodi se kao „nisko“, a radi se o položaju u kojem su ruke postavljene nisko.

Hrvatski je baletni koreograf, pedagog i plesač. Nakon završene baletne škole u Beogradu usavršavao se u École-Atelier Rudra Béjart u Lausannei. Posljednjih godina, zbog suvremenoga stila u kojem kombinira moderan i klasičan baletni izraz, koreografira za mnoge baletne institucije i kazališta George Alexandru Baldovin George Baldovin was born in Iasi, Romania, to a family of artists. With the help of his brother, Jul Baldovin, he was introduced into world of music. He started to play guitar-vocal in a variety of genres, including pop,folk,country,blues,j azz. At the age of 12 he began ballet school "Octav Bancila" Iasi while still continuing with his music. He and his brother started a band called"Baldwin Brothers”. Their band won awards and concerts in Romania and abroad . George began his professional career as a ballet dancer at early age, first in Opera House Iasi and Opera House Constanta. Soon after he joined the Opera House Maribor-Slovenia, under direction of Eduard Clug, In 2007 he moved to London to join European Ballet London. He performed with HNK Zagreb first in 2008 and then again in 2010, where he stayed for almost ten years. Throughout his ballet career he performed demi-soloist and soloist roles in all the major classical ballets as well as in modern ballets. In parallel with his ballet career, he composed instrumental-electronic music for modern and contemporary ballets, for media, and has collaborated with different musical artists.
